Frequently Asked Questions
1. How should we send our ARTWORK? You can send your artwork via e-mail, web site hosting (yousendit.com), or through the mail on a CD-R. We prefer all art be submitted to us as an adobe Photoshop or illustrator file. All text must be converted to paths/outlines or curves to make them vector and eliminate the need for a .ttf file. IF you cannot do this, please attach any fonts and linked images. IF you send an illustrator file, please make sure this file can be opened with any version of illustrator and is an .AI or .EPS format. Also, please make sure you are sending all art with original layers and not a flatten version. IF your design is multi-color, please make sure each color is in a separate layer and all layers included. For Photoshop, .PSD's or .TIFF's are preferred. Make sure that all art is at least 300 DPI and sized to actual size desired to print. We can work with anything but these specifications are what we prefer. If your art needs fixing up, we will do our best to do bring it up to quality to print. If the artwork modification is extensive, you will be charged an artwork fee, which we will pre-authorized from you before we do anything. **Don't be afraid of all this, we will do our best to work with what you got if you do not know what all this means. [ Back To Top ] For every color printed on a shirt, a separate screen must be made. Therefore, if you have a two-color design, two screens must be made. For every extra placement on a shirt (back, front, side, etc), a new screen must be made. So if you want a one color front and back shirt, which would be 2 screens. For a two-color front, one color back, it would be 3 screens. See where I am going with this? This charge is an 18-23 dollar charge PER COLOR/PER PLACEMENT that covers the exact cost of what we have to buy the screens for. We do not charge for inks/emulsions/tape/electric/chemicals/etc. We only ask you to cover the cost of the screens. This fee is one time only per design made with. When you decide you do not want that design, you still have a credit for however many screens you have used with us. So once you pay for however many screens, you do not pay again until you get more designs made and you decide to keep the other ones.
[ Back To Top ] Just about ANY color you want including metallic shimmer silver and gold. We can PANTONE match anything with a PMS (Pantone matching system) number. So you name it, we mix it.
[ Back To Top ] As of right now, we can print up to 14 inches wide by 16-18 inches tall depending on artwork. In the future we will be offering larger print sizes.
[ Back To Top ] Yes, you can! You can do any amount of colors as long as the ink color stays the same. When the ink colors change, there is an ink change fee of 5-10 dollars per color change.
[ Back To Top ] Yes you may, you can do as many different sizes and you need and however many you want. You do not have to order in even numbers or in dozens.
[ Back To Top ] Locals may pick up their order. If delivery is wanted, there is a small gas charge. Shipping is payed for by the customer. A shipping quote will be given when the order is placed and finalized. Everything is sent out UPS ground unless other arrangements are made.
[ Back To Top ] We work very hard and fast, so our turn around time is 2-3 days. That time does not include weekends, holidays, and transit time
[ Back To Top ] We do print rush orders, there is no extra fee. But that rush order depends on entirely on you. You must have your design together and payment sent as fast as possible to me for me to have your shirts sent out. Because we print allot faster than the transit system.
[ Back To Top ] There is no minimum order for one-color designs. For multicolor jobs, you must print at least 24 for 2 colors, 48 for 3 colors, 96 for 4,5,6 colors. There are exceptions; it is all depending on your artwork and so forth. So please enquire by e-mail. We are very flexible.
[ Back To Top ] You can pay with a money order or online with a major credit card via paypal.com. If you aren't familiar with paypal, let us know and we can send you a paypal invoice. First time customers must pay in full up front. Established customers are required to put 50% down and pay the balance when the job is complete.
